Not a large shop but a hospitable one.
We sell comics, visit web page novels, board and card games along with Magic the Gathering.
Come on in and say Hi!
Why do John Romita Jr's illustrations of children look like nightmare dolls and puppets?
Has he seen human children?
Maybe she can co-write with Slott and we can get more happening each issue.
It is a solid story so far but the pace needs to be picked up.
This is something we need more of in comics.
The team jp comics and games with WASP was also great and Vechhio does a superb job on art duties.
Cates is building up his own creations in interesting ways.
Moore does a great job on art it looks like he was a bit inspired by Allred's run which is very cool.
I hope John Carpenter gets co-credit on some of the new designs and ideas in this series.
The cast outside the title two are equally compelling.
Hope this series gets the run length it deserves.
Why on earth would an editor sign off on this dumb look?
She looks especially stupid in the context of the other outfits and designs in the House of X crew.
A good one but a true horror title.
Ewing and Bennet have such a clear direction they are taking this title and I am glad editorial let them.
What a great series, Spurrier and Bergara tell some wonderful jp comics and games together.
Took maybe a bit too long to get here but a solid reason for the push into new worlds.
Touching funny and tragic.
I still miss him on X-23 and X-Men.
The art and writing are working together perfectly in this little gem.
I am curious how long this series will run for.
They need to get help.
Also enough with the bi-weekly.
Fun writing and art that does a great job with the characters and action.
I hope we get more of these single issue stories sprinkled liberally throughout the run.
Also the series continues to be excellent.
Mostly flash in lieu of substance and the start of the convoluted mess and clutter that defines the X-line now.
They should have just called it War of Realms Deadpool as he sucks all the energy and narrative away from the other characters in the book.
Very good book learn more here delivers an engaging chapter every issue.
Rob Sharidan, Barnaby Bagenda, and Amancay Nahuelpan are a damned solid team.
Bagley continues to deliver some of his best work.
One thing jp comics and games book highlights is how much better the stories of these characters would be if they were allowed to actually age and grow.
It needs to tighten up, too little is happening.
Looks like a fun series with a good team on it.
Pak and Lim are solid together.
Hope we get some good humor from it as well.
Great job so far this probably could have been an even comic.
· Venom did a great job with War of the Realms, seamlessly working the event into the story.
Why did Cates go off the book and Bunn jp comics and games on though?

Magic the Gathering three nights a week, and a Thursday night open game night.
Really great customer service.
Blake helped me pick out a unique game for my 10-year-old nephew, and really put thought into finding something appropriate and engaging for the age I was shopping for.
I came to pick it up and the house was packed wall to wall with people playing Magic.
It was a great atmosphere.
A very nice local establishment with knowledgeable and very friendly staff.
Friendly atmosphere -- you will often find people hanging out talking movies, games, comics or current events.
Thursday night is game night when the store invites people in to play games.
The store provides some and people bring their own.
The store hosts several Magic the Gathering events each week.
I checked out this store yesterday afternoon.
The selection's decent for a pretty small space.
If only I'd been able to get to any of it-- the staff and friends were engrossed in a game of "Magic", playing on a folding table that took up half the floor space, and blocked off whole walls of comics.
I managed to find a title worth picking up, and had to interrupt the game and ask several times: "Excuse me-- can someone sell this please click for source me?
The employee's reply: "That's what the sign says".
I'm not itching to come back and find out.
A year and a half later, I found myself in the area again and I've got to say that this modest little store has shaped up very, VERY nicely.
I still haven't made a purchase as it's not my local comics or gaming hookup and my local meets my needs, but I can't help but marvel at how well this place stocks their very minimal square footage without making the place feel crammed, AND leaving space for a few gaming tables.
This store is a nothing short of AMAZING in terms of interior design.
Some of the nicer looking comic stores I've seen have managed to look good, but with the tradeoff being that they don't actually have much PRODUCT.
This little place has a selection of specialty board games just as good and a selection of graphic novels NEARLY as good as my local fix Double Midnight comics in Manchester NHand Double Midnight is easily DOUBLE THE SIZE.
Magic the Gathering Nights.
Volume 0 of Transmetropolitan?
Place isn't even expensive either.
I am happy that I found a nerd hangout in JP.
I live in Weymouth, yet I purchase all my comics here.
My son and I participate in the JP Comics Open Forum held every few weeks.
We have only met and dealt with the owner, Paul and find him to be quite personable, fair, genuine and quite approachable.
He is not only quite knowlagable about comics, good with adults and teenagers like my son, but is also very encouraging to the younger children who wish to discuss and draw comics with the rest of the forum participants.
The store is always bright, clean https://bespolezno.website/and-games/bugs-bunny-and-daffy-duck-games.html well organized.
I have neen following the most popular of the new 52 and if I miss an issue, Paul will order it for me or put aside the issues that I remember to ask for.
Ian Nichols of www.
Ian is a wonderful artist and comic book publisher.
The forum is open to all interested in comics, no matter how old, knowledgable or artistic they are.
Small store but the initiatives about Magic The Gathering are great.
I have played Standard a few Sundays and despite of my not perfect English and my being new to the store, both gamers and staff have been very friendly and nice.
They have a terrific variety and the people who work there have actually PLAYED most of the games.
Which means the recommendations you get will be honest and helpful.
I'm so glad this store exists in JP!!!
I happened upon my own review, and considering the fact that I"m there 1-2 nights a week, I actually felt guilty not giving Mike and Paul 5 stars.
Come by some night and play some games!
The guys who run this place are friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly they care about what they sell.
I've picked up some stuff that I've wanted and even more based on recommendations.
They've also avoided the number one pitfall of small comic shops; a holier than thou attitude.
If we lived in High Fidelity, this place would be Championship Vinyl.
They have a good selection of games and comics, but whenever I've gone the staff has been less than willing to stop talking to a friend to help me.
But, since I can buy board games for cheaper on Amazon, I've decided to bypass the crappy service vibe and buy them online.
https://bespolezno.website/and-games/download-game-blood-and-glory-2.html my first visit here, my husband commented, "for the first time ever, you are a bigger nerd than me.
The guys working there are super nice and really know their stuff.
Just dropped in today after noticing that this place opened right by my house, super excited to have a place to buy comics that is down the street.
Their comic selection is reasonable considering they are brand new.
I wish they had some max and games toy comics, but it's a pretty small store.
Unfortunately, It looks like I'll still mainly be going to other random non-local places.
They do have a good selection of marvel, DC, vertigo, etc.
So if that's your bag, it's a great place to go.
The guy whose name I forgot was really helpful big sideburns.
He offered me some suggestions for comic books, as I'm not as into the superhero thing and therefor am not as educated about the authors.
So I plan to stop in later in the week when they hopefully have Issue 1 of said suggestion.
He was in general super helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the products he had on the shelf.
We got into a pretty in-depth discussion on World of Warcraft online vs board game.
He mentioned they are teaching some of the games in the store and to stop by, which is really cool.
I'm going to assume this is what the table in the center is for.
The board game selection in general is pretty rocking and something I'm going to keep in mind when christmas time rolls around.
All in all the store seems really promising.
I would give it 5 stars if it had a bigger comics selection.
I'm not really a 'comic book person' but I like popping into local businesses and exploring.
The store is clean, bright, and well organized.
There's a giant wall of comic books on one side and a moderate collection of games on the other.
I do wish they played some music in the store.
Whenever I've been in it's been pin-drop silent and that makes me a little nervous and less likely to stay and browse.
Personally, I'd also like to see some more 'brain game' kind of books and puzzles which are more up my alley, but that's okay if that's not what they're going for.
I'm happy to have a comic store in JP, but this one has a limited selection, and is more focused on games than comics.
They run out of stuff a lot, and I've given up on trying.
Go to Comicazi in Davis Square instead.
I visited this place today, which just opened last Thursday.
So far, I am liking the vibe!
This is a cute little comics and games store on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, located in the same block as Bon Saveur, so it is several blocks north of the "core" part of Centre Street, where the JP Licks, Centre Street Cafe, etc are.
Since I'm a JP resident and drive down Centre Street all the time, I was shocked last week when I saw the sign for this new store.
I thought, "finally, a comics store comes to JP!
In the middle of the store when I went in this afternoon was a friendly and coed bunch playing a political or war-based board game of some kind I don't know much about gaming myself.
I began perusing the comics shelves and Mike came over and introduced himself, and seemed very chill and nice.
He struck up a conversation with me about some titles I like.
Later on, one of the guys playing the game who I think is also one of the proprietors made a point of saying hi to me as well, although I didn't catch his name.
These seemed like cool, laid-back guys, the kind of people you'd play ultimate frisbee or check out the local live music scene with; not like a stereotypically socially awkward geek.
I was also impressed that it was a coed crowd.
The store isn't huge, but they seemed to have a reasonable selection of the new arrivals from the "big 2" DC and Marvel as well as a smattering of other publishers.
There was also a back issue rack which I imagine will grow as time passes, and a selection of various trade paperbacks.
I have been giving my business to the Cambridge branch of New England Comics, about which I have nothing but good things to say.
But since I'm not working or living in Cambridge anymore it really doesn't make sense for me to schlep to Harvard Square every time I want comics which, it turns out, is pretty often and I'm always annoyed by the lack of parking in Coolidge Corner so I haven't made that NEC my new place.
Also, I'd like to support this local startup which seems promising so far.
They told me that they, like most other stores, will be happy to set up a "pull list" for me to let them know which comics I'd like them to set aside when a shipment comes in if I can't make it in that week.
I hope this place flourishes!
Stumbled in to JP Comics and Games last week to kill some time while waiting for some takeout.
I've done this so many time I was able to buy a house in Maine, people are stupid and if they don't jp comics and games the research I'm happy to take advantage of their stupidity.
To openly admit to strangers that you have been scamming people who come into the store is a whole new level of ignorance that I have never witnessed before.
So beware, if you are trying to make a few extra bucks by selling old comics, do your research and don't try to do it here.
Because apparently, there are some pretty dishonest people working here.
JP Comics and Games is a great little comic shop.
The staff there is very knowledgeable, and their selection is great.
They hold gaming events multiple nights a week, so if you go in later you may walk in on an event.
Every time I've done this I've been invited to play whichever strange board game they may be playing I don't play many board games, they're ALL strange to me.
They always do their best to answer my nerdy questions, and are more than willing to order anything they don't have.
I encountered the unfriendly staff member on multiple occasions, I was even forced to leave the store even though people were gaming inside.
Clearly I was not welcome.
I have returned to see if the particular experience would reoccur, but I sometimes chat with the friendly staff member, I suppose that makes the difference for a star.
As a brand new uncle, his eyes caught the great window display.
We wandered in and were warmly greeted by the staff.
We learned that the store was brand new.
Who knew what I was stumbling into when I decided to frame a couple items for someone special for Christmas.
I called around to all the usual frame shops in the Boston area and then came across Framers' Workshop.
As good as it gets!

More geared to games than comics, the selection of comics is a bit sparse and skewed largely to the mainstream.
The selection of specialty games, however, is very good; especially considering the store's limited space.
As it is so small, it clearly suffers from one of the worst problems a game store can face: having no open gaming space.

Beyond the… Thank you for your feedback.
We do our best to have a good variety of titles in stock.
Beyond the items our pull list customers tell us they want, it is sometimes hard to predict which titles will sell and which won't, and, being a small start-up, we have to be careful about what and how much we order.
If you would like to set up a pull list which, by the way, comes with a discountwe would be happy to order your selections for you.

The store hosts several Magic the Jp comics and games events each week.
I checked out this store yesterday afternoon.
The selection's decent for a pretty small space.
If only I'd been able to get to any of it-- the staff and friends were engrossed in a game of "Magic", playing on a folding table that took up half the floor space, and blocked off whole walls of comics.
I managed to find a title worth picking up, and had to interrupt the game and ask several times: "Excuse me-- can someone sell this to me?
The employee's reply: "That's what the sign says".
I'm not itching to come back and find out.
A year and a half later, I found myself in the area again and I've got to say that this modest little store has shaped up very, VERY nicely.
I still haven't made a purchase as it's not my local comics or gaming hookup and my local meets my needs, but I can't help but marvel at how well this place stocks their very minimal square footage without making the place feel crammed, AND leaving space for a few gaming tables.
This store is a nothing short of AMAZING in angel and devil makeover games of interior design.
The store is always bright, clean and well organized.
After my first visit here, my husband commented, "for the first time ever, you are a bigger nerd than me.
The guys working there are super nice and really know their stuff.
Just dropped in today after noticing that this place opened right by my house, super excited to have a place to buy comics that is down the street.
Their comic selection is reasonable considering they are brand new.
I wish they had some indie comics, but it's a pretty small store.
Unfortunately, It looks like I'll still mainly be going to other random non-local places.
They do have a good selection of marvel, DC, vertigo, etc.
So if that's your bag, it's a great place to go.
The guy whose name I forgot was really helpful big sideburns.
He offered me games download only hoot and giggle suggestions for comic books, as I'm not as into the superhero thing and therefor am not as educated about the authors.
In the middle of the store jp comics and games I went in this afternoon was a friendly and coed bunch playing a political or war-based board game of some kind I don't know much about gaming myself.
But since I'm not working or living in Cambridge anymore it really doesn't make sense for me to schlep to Harvard Square every time I want comics which, it turns out, is pretty often jp comics and games I'm always annoyed by the lack of parking in Coolidge Corner so I haven't made that NEC my new place.
I've done this so many time I was able to buy a house in Maine, people are stupid and if they don't do the research I'm happy to take advantage of their stupidity.
Who knew what I was stumbling into when I decided to link a couple items for someone special for Christmas.
I called around to all the usual frame shops in the Boston area and then came across Framers' Workshop.
As good as it gets!
They have a discount of up to 20% off all reserved comics, and they can quickly order any comic book or game for you.

More geared to games than comics, the selection of comics is a bit sparse and skewed largely to the mainstream.
The selection of specialty games, however, is very good; especially considering the store's limited space.
As it is so small, it clearly suffers from one of the worst problems a game store can face: having no open gaming space.

The store is always bright, clean and well organized.

He offered me some suggestions for comic books, as I'm not as into the superhero thing and therefor am not as educated about the authors.
So I plan to stop in later in the week when they hopefully have Issue signs and symbols used in games of said suggestion.
I would give it 5 stars jp comics and games it had a bigger comics selection.

I began perusing the comics shelves read more Mike came over and introduced himself, and seemed very chill and nice.
But since I'm not working or living in Cambridge anymore it really doesn't make sense for me to source to Harvard Square every time I want comics which, it turns out, is pretty often and I'm always annoyed by the lack of parking in Coolidge Corner so I haven't made that NEC my new place.
Also, I'd like to support this local startup which seems promising so far.
They told me that they, like most other stores, will be happy to set up a "pull list" for me to let them know which comics I'd like them to set aside when a shipment comes in if I can't make it in that week.
I hope this place flourishes!

To openly admit to strangers that you have been scamming people who come into the store is a whole new level of ignorance that I have never witnessed before.

I managed to find a title worth picking up, and had to interrupt the game and ask several times: "Excuse me-- can someone sell this to me?
The employee's reply: "That's what the sign says".
I'm not itching to come back and find out.
A year jp comics and games a half later, I found myself in the area again and I've got to say that this modest little store has shaped up very, VERY nicely.

He mentioned they are teaching some of the games in the store and to stop by, which is really cool.

So far, I am liking the please click for source />This is a cute little comics and games store on Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, located in the same block as Bon Saveur, so it is several blocks north of the "core" part of Centre Street, where the JP Licks, Centre Street Cafe, etc are.
But since I'm not working or living in Cambridge anymore it really doesn't make sense for me to schlep to Harvard Square every time I want comics which, it turns out, is pretty often and And ladder mobile snake game for free download always annoyed by the lack of parking in Coolidge Corner so I haven't made that NEC my new place.

I hope this place flourishes!

If only I'd been able to get to any of it-- the staff and jp comics and games were engrossed in a game of "Magic", playing on a folding table that took up half the floor space, and blocked off whole walls of comics.
This store is a nothing short of AMAZING in terms of interior design.
Some of the nicer looking comic stores I've seen have managed to look good, but with the tradeoff being that they don't actually have much PRODUCT.
This little place has a selection of specialty board games just as good and a selection of graphic novels NEARLY as good as my local fix Double Midnight comics in Here NHand Double Midnight is easily DOUBLE THE SIZE.

More geared to games than comics, the selection of comics is a bit sparse and skewed largely to the mainstream.
The selection of specialty games, however, is very good; especially considering the store's limited space.

Personally, I'd also like to see some more 'brain game' kind of books and puzzles which are more up my alley, but that's okay if that's not what they're going for.

They run out of stuff a lot, and I've given up on trying.
Go to Comicazi in Davis Square instead.

In the middle of the store when I went in this afternoon was a friendly and coed bunch playing a political or war-based board and 2 glory blood game download of some kind I don't know much about gaming myself.

I've done this so many time I was able to buy a house in Maine, people are stupid and if they don't do the research I'm happy to take advantage of their stupidity.

Clearly I was not welcome.
I have returned to see if the particular experience would reoccur, but I sometimes chat with the friendly staff member, I suppose that makes the difference for a star.

I just have so much to say about this store.
First of all, it's rather tiny.
I'm guessing it's no bigger than 750 square feet.
